Valkrie in Oil Paint

As I had previously sketched a Valkyrie in pencil, adding a golden design as a backdrop in one of my first departures from monochromatic art, I decided to use the same model for this colour study in oils. The evocation of war is completed with flecks of paint as though the shield has been hacked to bits by an army of enemy swords - but the fighting spirit of this warrior woman will ever be unbroken.

Size: A4 (210 x 297 mm), A3 (297 x 420mm), A2 (594 x 420mm) and A1 (841 x 594mm)

Frame: A3, A2 and A1 in Oak and Black Frame with White mount.

Paper: This edition was professionally printed with Giclée Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Paper. Each print will have Cert and numbered.

There are only 40 prints produced, once the edition has sold out it will not be produced again.
