This painting is inspired by the song "Somebody That I Used to Know" by Gotye, but it is not a tribute to any ex-girlfriends. It is a reflection of my own feelings and experiences, as I try to move on from the past and embrace the present. The face of the girl is obscured, because she is not the focus of the painting. The focus is on the vibrant colors and bold strokes that express my emotions and creativity. The yellow background represents the light and hope that I have in my life, despite the challenges and changes that I face. This painting is a way of letting go of what I used to know, and celebrating what I have now.
